Community Liason Group

Draft Terms of Reference

1. The group will be known as Jack's Lane Wind Farm Community Liason Group (CLG)

2. The CLG will have the following foundation members:
* North Creake Parish Council - 2 representatives
* South Creake Parish Council - 2 representatives
* Stanhoe Parish Council - 2 representatives
* Syderstone Parish Council - 2 representatives
* King's Lynn & West Norfolk BC - Ward Councillors
* Norfolk County Council - Division Councillors

3. The aim of the CLG is to provide a forum for discussion and the exchange of information. Also to create and maintain channels of communication between representatives of the company developing the windfarm, and the local community.

4. The CLG will:
* Receive progress updates from RES on the development of the site.
* Deal with questions and concerns arising from the surrounding communities.
* Establish workshop discussions on key specific elements of the proposals, development and operation of the site.

5. RES is responsible for the cost of all administration of the meetings.

6. Detailed minutes shall be kept as a record of the meeting and these will be agreed at the following meeting, subject to any amendment proposed by any member of the group.

7. Copies of all CLG meeting notices and minutes will be sent to the local Member of Parliament and to the planning department of King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council for information purposes.

8. A specified 15 minute period will be designated for members of the public to address a question to the group during the Liason Group meeting.

9. The meetings will be conducted in public and the agreed minutes will be in the public domain. Members of the public are not allowed to speak during the meeting outside the designated 15 minute slot. Any questions from members of the public should be sent in advance to the Chairman or should be directed through an existing CLG member.
