Owing to the retirement of the present Clerk on March 31st 2012 South Creake Parish Council will have a vacancy for a home based Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer to commence duties on April 1st 2012.

South Creake is a Quality Parish Council and will expect the successful candidate to have the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CILCA) or working towards qualifying.

The Council meets on the first Monday of each month except for August. The hours are 4 hours per week with the salary based on the National Pay Scales.

The main responsibilities are:-
* Attendance at all Parish Council Meetings and the preparation of the agendas and minutes.
* Managing Council's finance in accordance with Financial Regulations and preparing the accounts for the annual audit.
* Advising Council on its statuary duties, managing all correspondence and implementing the policies of the Council.
