Minutes November 10th 2008

SOUTH CREAKE PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of an Emergency Parish Council Meeting held at "Elanjay", 28 Fakenham Road, South Creake on Monday November 10th 2008 at 4 30pm.

Present: Councillors: L Ringwood, Chairman, R Wakeman, G Allen, C. Gardner, T Harrison, R Maslin and the Clerk.

1. Apologies for absence
Apologies for abscence were received from Councillors Mrs D. Cox, Mrs A. Harvey and Mrs V. May.

2. Declaration of Interest on the Agenda Item
The following Councillors declared a prejudicial interest. Councillors, L. Ringwood, R. Wakeman, R. Maslin.

3. War Memorial Trustees Loan Request
Members discussed a request from the Trustees of the War Memorial Institute for a loan to pay the Archetects Fees for drawing up the plans for the new Community Hall so that preparatory work for the building of the hall could be carried forward.
The loan request totalling £3,360.00 would be repaid on the completion of the sale of the War Memorial Institute. The request for a loan was considered and it was resolved to make an Interest Free Loan of £3,360.00 to the Trustees of the War Memorial Institute.

With no other business the Chairman closed the meeting at 4.55pm
