Services-Trains, Ferries & Airports

Mainline Trains

The nearest mainline stations are King's Lynn (25 miles) and Norwich (32 miles).

King's Lynn offers services to London, Kings Cross via Ely and Cambridge.
Change at Ely for services to Norwich, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Peterborough for services to the North and Scotland.
Change at Cambridge for services to Stanstead Airport and London, Liverpool St. via Bishops Stortford and Tottenham Hale (for the Underground).
King's Cross is next door to the new St. Pancras International station for fast services to Europe through the Channel Tunnel.

Norwich offers services to London, Liverpool St. via Ipswich, Colchester and Stratford.
Change at Ipswich for services to Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Lowestoft (via Woodbridge, Saxmundham and Beccles) and Felixstowe.
Change at Colchester for services to Clacton/Walton and all intermediate stations to London (change at Shenfield for Southend).
Change at Stratford for the Underground and the new International Station for fast services to Europe through the Channel Tunnel.
Norwich also offers services to Cromer, Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Thetford and Ely.

DFDS Seaways offer overnight ferries from Harwich, Essex to Esbjerg, Denmark.
