Burnham Market Area Community Car Scheme. BMACCS.

The surgery is extremely lucky to have an excellent community car scheme. run by Mrs Daphne Potter. The scheme is a group of volunteer drivers who will take patients on medically related journeys.

The scheme works closely with the surgery and many of the journeys are between patients’ homes and the surgery. Patients are also taken to hospitals in Cambridge, Norwich, King’s Lynn, Cromer, Kelling and the Physiotherapy department in Wells Cottage Hospital. Drivers take people to Residential Care Homes and to Tapping House in Snettisham as well as to dentists, opticians and chiropodists.

Please give as much notice as possible. Cost 45p per mile
